Paula Ulicsni Halverson

Paula A. Ulicsni Halvorson is an orchestra teacher in the Willmar Public School District. She has earned a Bachelor of Music in K-12 Music Education from the University of Minnesota Duluth and a Master of Music from the University of South Carolina. Read more about Paula

December 15, 2024 “Winter”

  • Christmas Overture, by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor;
  • Concerto No. 4 in F minor, "Winter" (L'Inverno), featuring Malaya Yague on violin;
  • Bal Masque, Op. 22, by Amy Beach;
  • Messiah, Hallelujah Chorus, featuring guest conductor Darcy Lease Gubrud, the West Central Singers, and community singers;
  • Christmas Singalong for Orchestra and Audience, by John Finnegan.

March 2, 2025 “Masterworks”

  • Beethoven's 1st Symphony
  • Telemann Viola Concerto in G Major featuring Joshua Pierskalla on viola.

April 26, 2025 Young Artists Concert

  • Repertoire TBD by our young artist winner(s)
  • Tchaikovsky’s 4 th Symphony

In Person Concert Tickets $15 (Students are free, but require a ticket for entry.)

Tickets are.available at the door with cash, check, or credit.

Season Tickets are $48 for all four concerts.
